Not really sure what to do or expect. Got asked to volunteer and said yes. Never been.
Keep your eyes on the coffee and donut tray.
Last time I attended one (admittedly not a Republican one), it was indoors. Has that changed?
It is a terrible experience.
If a bunch of nerds can make it to the lab, 65 year old farmers will plow their way into town for free coffee and donuts…

The format the Ds have where they go into groups and then lobby the small groups to flock to their camp sounds terrible.

I used to be proud that Iowa had a say. But quite frankly my tune has changed on that.
Don’t mind if Iowa goes near first. But it should be a primary. Caucus is outdated.
If the caucuses are even close to experiencing the political lunatics on this board it sounds like my own personal hell.
They are pretty bad, but usually a couple folks will eventually tell the idiots to sit down.
At the 2016 caucus I had to listen to a bunch people chant "I'm with her, madame president" for multiple minutes.

Last time it was writing your candidate on a piece of paper and dropping it in a box. Then selecting delegates. A few dumb speeches but otherwise easy peasy.

The loons come out of the woodwork for sure. I’m a registered R so have only experienced theirs. Bunch of political losers with waaayyyyy too much invested in it. I haven’t been since MAGA crawled out of its hole. It’s probably even more insane.
