There's no way to sugar coat this: History is repeating itself again.

One year after the Big 12 had just two teams advance to the Sweet 16 and none in the Elite Eight, the league is struggling to represent itself at a high level in the NCAA Tournament.

Only three teams -- Kansas, Oklahoma and Iowa State -- out of seven have advanced through the first round and are still playing. Three of the four Big 12 teams that fell -- Baylor, West Virginia and Texas -- were knocked out by double-digit seeds.

The Big 12 could easily have a F4 showdown to play in the Finals.

I also wouldn't put it past ISU to finally make it. If they get by Virginia...

Article is misguided and poorly timed. They may very well have three in the sweet 16. Maybe in the final 4

Yep. Not sure why anyone would be talking about the big 12. Clear loser is pac 12 and it isn't even close. Flip flop msu and Oregon and pac 12 is done right now.
Umm, I don't know if I'd go as far as to say Oregon would've lost to MTSU.

Would've? We'll never know. But I think we can all agree that Michigan State was snubbed out of a #1 seed, and the team that stole that spot was Oregon or maybe Virginia....

Three teams lost to lower seeds. They were overrated.
