That is absolutely correct. As I said, I was simply talking about the fact that Bama does normally play a highly ranked team in their OOC.

Another thing that benefits the SEC is that they often play a cupcake in the middle of their conference season.

Alabama plays one highly-ranked team, but NEVER as a road game. Always neutral site.

And they play 9 P5 games when most big boys play at least 10.

They play Mercer as their penultimate game this year.

Yeah. I guess he has the attitude that if he doesn't HAVE to schedule those kinds of games, then why should he? I guess they're the gold standard nowadays and don't have to prove anything to anyone. The CFP rankings are Exhibit A. Alabama's and Wisconsin's respective strengths of schedule are not much different (40s compared to 50s, I believe), yet no one EVER comments on their schedule....because they're 'Bama.
