As exiting as a UN meeting. Somebody in Marketing needs to really step it up BIG time. If there are excuses on why people don't go then address is for gosh sake. It is not that hard. We have a top 20 team and a home court that is not a factor. First things first..... The venue is what it is so don't worry about changing that right now. I shouldn't say this like the marketing department is not doing anything but my gosh not getting 15k to a basketball game in BT season is really bad. Also, those that go, thank you, but screw the security folks. Be loud and proud. If people have to stand up sometimes tough crap. Maybe a turnover in some season ticket holders is not such a bad thing. When this team hits the court it can't be a bunch of people sitting down waiting for something to happen. While I love going to a game at Carver it may have been a bad deal to build it. There was nothing better than the intimidation of the old loud field house. Iowa fans slowly became too comfortable and we had some major misses on the coaching front. That sheet should be behind us but the UofI is going to get off their arse and get it going. Need to make it a place that people hate to come to. Eff em. Get frickin after it. Ok I'm done now.....went to Nebraska game and was embarrassed a bit for the team.
I already hate to go there, and I'm a season ticket holder. But maybe that's not quite what you mean.
