Question is, during his first at bat where will he get 'his' for taking out the SS the other night.

A---head shot
B---square in the ribs

A on his first at-bat, B on his 2nd and a nutcracker on his 3rd, if he isn't on the DL by then.

If he tries to take out the 2nd baseman on possible double play today, he will get a relay throw right in the teeth.

I don't think you see retaliation unless the Mets are way ahead or (especially) way behind. They were discussing this on Mike and Mike this morning and I agree. Someone, probably David Wright, will go to Matt Harvey and tell him the focus is on winning the game. If there is retaliation to be done, it will be next year, or late in this game if it is out of hand.

I would bet a pretty substantial sum of money that Utley does not face the wrath tonight.

You are probably right. 'Back in the day' the first pitch to him would be in the airhole of his batting helmet.

Umps will have a short trigger on any retaliation. Harvey needs to stay in the game to give his team it's best chance to win game 3.
