Chicago hotels and shopping

Just stayed at the Omni on Mag mile. daytime very safe. In comparison to precovid I would say several storefronts empty and a lot more cops around. Took ubers at night so didnt walk around enough to comment on safety at night. Didn't ask but would eat at Hugo's Frog Bar and Fishouse if you have the opportunity

Chicago might be one of the best big cities in the entire world. Def the best in the USA. Downtown is incredibly safe. Just don’t drive to far south Chicago (not Chicago by the way). Do you people even big city bros?

I was just up there a couple weeks ago and I said the same thing to my no pic wife. It's a fantastic city in so many regards but when it comes to “ease of tourism” there is no US city that compares. And I'm not a “world traveler” by any stretch but I doubt there are more than a handful in the world that match or surpass it.
