The head coach doesn’t have to explain his personnel decisions to anyone. Buying a ticket to a game doesn’t entitle you to decide who does and doesn’t play.

I think the Denver fans are very happy with today's product.
Imagine them starting Patrick, Travis, and Co and one gets injured and Trad comes in here saying "why are they playing their starters with the bye locked? The NFL should fix this issue."
I've seen some dumb arguments here over the years.....but it is like trad is intentionally being obtuse. See Trad, I'm giving you a way out
This Chiefs fan is fine with outcome. I took Denver and the points.. Would have been pissed if a significant player got injured in a meaningless game
One of the great things about college football (or it used to be that way) was the fact that if you're going to lose, it's better to lose early rather than late in the season.
chiefs can’t beat a divisional rival right before the playoffs?! Talk about a team trending the wrong direction when it matters.

The fans are perfectly ok with it. The Chiefs fans know they don't want to play Cincy. My biggest issue isn't that the starters were benched, the second-string just rolled over. Intentionally throwing a game to avoid an opponent is a bad look.
Trad is super mad about his dolphins getting bounced by the broncos.
Woulda happened anyway because they lost to the Jets. But still, there should be no "meaningless" games in the NFL.

Broncos were a blocked FG away from a season sweep of the Chiefs. Not a bad season for a rookie QB.

If you buy tickets for the last game of the season you get what you pay for.
Not a bad season for a rookie qb and all that dead cap hit. It’s actually pretty impressive. Trying not to be overly optimistic about the broncos moving forward.
Future looks a lot more promising with Nix than Russell Wilson
I didn’t mind they took a shot with Wilson. They tried. Drew Lock wasn’t going to work. But, I give them credit for cutting ties with Russ relatively quickly, and rebuilding when the rookie QB class was deep.

I’m thoroughly impressed with Bo. Again, trying to not get my hopes up but it is hard not to.
I don’t care if it was a win against the 3rd string…anytime you can put a 38-0 shutout against the Chiefs into the record books, you do it. And, it feels great.
Ah shit, I was pumped when they got Russ. Thought it was a great move. Just didn’t turn out that way, which happens. It was the contract though. It wasn’t necessary and kind of surprised George still has a job here. Oh well, moving forward.
And they get a lot more cap space back. I think they get about $37million more cap going into 2025 season just from Russell Wilson.
I could be wrong, but I think the cap hit is only $35 million (or something like that) instead of the $53million this year was.
