Choke

That was the old Iowa we know so well. Just pathetic. Penn State was miserable, and yet the Hawkeyes managed to be even worse. No energy most of the game, and nobody could fall off a boat in the middle of Lake Michigan and hit water. Ridiculous shooting from everywhere, including over, at, and around the rim. Nice way to end the winning streak. Gotta make up for it with a run in the NCAAs, but coming off this game, who knows what will happen there?

Just awful.

Go from up 10 to down 10 in the second half. Mentally weak team today. Gabe looked weak and lost for the most part. It was pathetic to watch this collapse yet again.....

We did not deserve the projected 7 seed in Omaha but this will cost us dearly. That was a great projected region too, Kansas as the #2 and they are hurting big time. II know Lunardi is not always correct but CBS had us as a 6 seed too. Guards were simply terrible today. Dreaded 8-9 game, here we come. Probably in Kentucky's region also....

Not totally true, he had one pretty good glorious run in the NIT.

Even won at Virginia that year.

Hoping that isn't the highlight of the Fran era.

This was predictable. Lose a game and out come the dumb fokkers lol.

We will get the seed that we deserve. This loss means even if we win our 8/9 match-up, we will have to beat a blue blood. This is the Tom Davis scenario that we saw play out many times over. For those that were thinking sweet 16, this loss today probably kills that hope. Go Hawks!
