Chris Street Court.

Nothing at all against Chris Street, but the program has done, and continues to do, a lot to retain, support and exemplify his life and basketball career,.. We don't need to become a one trick pony about this,.. There are and will continue to be numerous other deserving Hawkeyes to be honored...

Agreed. It doesn't really need to get to the point where everything associated with the program, court and arena revolves around this.

They retired #40.
They have the plaque outside the locker rooms (the one Izzo always likes to read whenever MSU is in Carver).
They award the Chris Street award to at least one Hawkeye every year.

I think this is all enough.

Hopefully I’m missing the sarcasm here, but they already award a player(s) with the Chris Street Award every season for the player(s) who exemplifies the spirit, intensity, and enthusiasm that Chris portrayed.

I would say that it’s easily the highest award given by Iowa Basketball after each season.
I did not know that.
