Lucy Olsen has had an incredible MONTH. On Feb 3rd/4th named B1G & National Player of the Week. On March 4, named 1st Team All B1G

Uh, I think JuJu might get it or tie with her 38 points, seven blocks and whatever rebounds tonite/- but that was a breakout game after a few “ok” games…

Yep....she's a special player and teammate, for sure. I'll most likely get crap for this.....but I'll say it anyway because it's truly how I feel: I'm not suggesting that Lucy is in the same league (talent wise) as CC.....but I enjoy watching Lucy play more than I did/do CC. No whining, no flopping, no drama....just smiles, tons of encouragement for her teammates, great attitude, and plenty of skillfully played basketball.

If we do go for a guard in the portal and far as that goes even a recruit, she will be a huge tool for the next one, along with the crowd, teammates, and of course, Caitlin Clark.

If Olson keeps this pace up (reasonably of course) and ends the season at 20.5 ppg, 5.5 apg, 4.0 RPG, 36 minutes per game, 3.0 turnovers with her current shooting splits (44% fg, 34% 3pt, 73% FT) am I crazy for thinking that's legit 2nd team all American?

I guess I understand, BUT I'm down with CC22 whining (or whatever) and all. Best competitor I've seen since Jordan. Give me someone with that unabashed drive to win and to be the best. I'm not down with running around smiling and glad handing when were down 15 and just turned the ball over for the 4th straight time. Great team mate, but I'll take Clarks leadership if it drives the team to be great. Isn't that what leadership is? Great friends off the floor, but take no prisoners come game time.....

Not from me it is your opinion and unlike some of the egomaniac posters on this board it is okay to have a different opinion.
And clearly, I'm not giving him crap either. Just my opinion as well, that I'd rather my team leader pushed the group harder UP the hill, then just giving them the pat on the back. Clark may not have been besties with everybody on the team, BUT they all respected the hell out of her, and I think that group of seniors who went to battle with her for all 4 years are pretty tight....
