Clark/Reese incident on CNN

To be fair, Angel Reese is a national champion and outstanding player of the tournament.
I understand your comments, however Angel Reese is a good player on the National Championship team. Alexa Morris, to me, is the most skilled college basketball player on their team, and Jasmine Carson uncorked an All-American caliber 3-point shooting performance during her 19 minutes of court time in the first half of the Championship game.

If upstaging Caitlin is driving Reese up the mountain, which IMO is, she's in for a rude awakening for the next few years chasing the dream.

Clark will be odds on favorite to repeat as NPOY, and should Caitlin declare for the draft after next season, she will be the number one pick.

Congrats to Angel being named the Outstanding Player of the Tournament, she certainly stood out.

She literally couldn't miss. Her and Poa. Those two single-handedly put Iowa in a hole that they just could not climb out of. If they had even shot 50%, we'd have been looking at a whole other ballgame.

I wish our fans had half the class of our of our coach and players. I just got back from the game. Yes it was disappointing to lose and see Angel taunting Clark. But young people have said and did things regrettable forever. It’s no excuse it happened, what’s our excuse
I wouldn't necessarily lump all fans into the mix. We experienced a great deal of class in Seattle and Dallas. Including supporters of Colorado, Louisville, South Carolina and quite frankly LSU. I'm hoping you shared similar and enjoyed the moments. Women's college basketball is on the move! :)

I agree, the whole experience was fun. The Hawkeye huddles were a hoot and interchange between fans their all good. Social media gives us so much, yet has his it’s dark side.

F@ck yes. I agree with all of this and can't wait for IOWA to get a shot at redemption.

The entire point is that the titles are given and it really only plays into the trolling for our fans to whine about the perceived injustice.

If you were a national brand and was looking for a womens bball player to be your spokesperson, who would you pick after watching that? I dont believe that Angel is looking too far ahead when acting like that. I cant imagine that it will do her well financially from NIL.

Hopefully Caitlin and everyone else can be done responding to this. It'll die away in a week.

Plenty of people have shared the TRUE comparisons of the completely different "you can't see me" gestures. Plus the additional actions by Reese.

The people that don't see the difference are being wilfully ignorant and won't change their stance no matter how many times you show the FULL video.

The entire Hawkeye team has been nothing but class.

Go out and read the article on ESPN from William C Rhoden. A bunch of lies and distortions about the so called taunting by Clark. So disgusting.
Black media is seeing it completely as a racial thing. It has nothing to do with race but being that they just want to be perennial victims, it has to be about race. Black libs are the most racist people on the planet.

Don’t misconstrue my comment that I endorse what Cruz has done. I’m convinced all leaders on both the Dems and Republicans are corrupt and immoral. I’m checked out on politics. I just thought the Cruz comment was funny.
The more hilarious one was when Trump quoted the National Enquirer, a rag he thought should be respected, and claimed the Cruz's father had something to do with LHO and Kennedy's assassination. Cruz is now just another slighted trump lapdog.

Reese's stats for the entire tournament were really good. While her teammates had some great stats in the final she did go for 15 and 10.
Riding the pine for a third of the game will also kill stats. But if she didn't get into foul trouble, Carson and Poa wouldn't have jacked up all those crazy threes. I've never seen anything like that before - mens or womens BB. They literally couldn't miss.

Check out the 1985 men's championship stats for Villanova

The Wildcats had the highest field goal percentage in Final Four history,[5] winning their first national championship in men's basketball. The game is referred to as "The Perfect Game",[6] as the Wildcats shot 78.6 percent as a team for the game (22 for 28, including 9 for 10 in the second half).

UCLA shot 64.5% in the '73 title game, with Walton going 21-22 from the field.

She noticed but took the high road with class…something Angel Reese knows nothing about.
Reese is just a racist and made the whole thing about race.

Rhoden is also the racist idiot that compares professional athletes to slaves....a real low resolution thinker.

Yep, I remember that. I also think that was one of the last championship games (maybe even THE last) before the shot clock was implemented.

Bit of a different era, as teams were able to be choosier with their shots, but it's an impressive stat just the same.

Still waiting to see "all the disrespect" Clark showered on LSU supposedly justifying the Reese and Morris after-game meltdowns. Surely they must have recorded interviews, tweets, or audio sound bytes. Where are they? The fact is they have nothing, zilch! It was all manufactured bs by two very bitter women. Glad to see Caitlin smartly ignore their phony outbursts and simply let these two continue to make fools of themselves.

Second, when a Stoic experiences rudeness, they ask themselves how they’ve actually been harmed by it. Someone calls you a name, someone speaks to you with a tone—none of that is nice. But what have the actual consequences been? Really none. It’s all in your head. As Epictetus would say, “another person will not do you harm unless you wish it; you will be harmed at just that time at which you take yourself to be harmed.”

I can appreciate her trying to throw Angel a lifeline, CC most likely just wants this to go away. Angel most definitely does deserve criticism ….she called you a “ho” and literally stalked you at the end of the game to taunt you out of malice and ignorance. That behavior deserves all the criticism in the world.

Ted Cruz? Lolololol. THE, Cancun Cruz.
Same puss who went under the table for Trump, after Trump openly insulted Ted's wife. Not many worse than Ted IMO.

Been a while since I have been in Iowa. Can Chuck Grassley even find his way to the bathroom anymore? He wasn't a youngster when I was in Iowa over 40 years ago. A few others aren't far behind...
