There is sensationalism press and there is news (truth/fact). It is up to rational minds to sort that out. This is not the thread to debate that, but it must be stated.

Some members of the press immediately turned it into a racial thing. They blindly agreed with Angel's statement, which was "the white girl does 'you can't see me' and it's cool but when the black girl does it, it's trashy." The whole racial narrative was disgusting, because we all knew the truth. Luckily the Louisville player finally came out in an interview and said Caitlin was doing the gesture towards the Iowa bench, NOT towards an opposing player.

You can’t undo the disrespect that was shown by Reese to Clark that was seen by 9 million viewers on national TV. Caitlin has taken the high road but don’t think for a second that she wouldn’t like another shot at Angel. She’s too big of a competitor not too. This isn’t going to die down anytime soon.
