All the Iowa wrestlers need to watch that match as that is the kind of effort you need to have to win big matches. Gulibon threw the sink at him and he matched and exceeded it. AT PSU he did not match and got beat.

Give Gulibon credit - he really came after clark non stop and really looked to have him at least twice. Clark just refused to lose.

I dislike Guilbon a lot. Not really sure why, just something about him. But, he put up a great fight.

Well according to the Penn State faithful Clark didn't deserve to win. Just like G-man stalled his way to victory. Now, Evans should have given it is all from the start, and Mac did quite a bit of back peddling, but I'll give credit to those guys. Amalone will be spewing his crap until next year when he realizes the parity in wrestling.

CC deserves a shout out for sure. I sure hope Dardanes cut caught up with him, because Brewer looked tough as nails in that semi.

I have to chuckle about PSU fans on message boards. Funny, isn't it, how their interest in "friendly discussions about wrestling" and their well-intentioned "interest in talking wrestling with Iowa fans" seem to have disappeared exactly when it became clear that they weren't going to compete for a team title this year? There have been a few PSU fans who have hung around to talk wrestling, but VERY few. For four years, this board was crawling with PSU fans ostensibly just wanting to talk wrestling, inserting thinly veiled chest-thumping about their dynasty whenever possible. Now, they're completely out of the title talk, and POOF! 95% of them are nowhere to be found -- notably this amalone character, who seems to be one of their most venomous in his hatred for Iowa.

Anyway, I'm sure everyone else has noticed the mass exodus of PSU fans this season. Just thought it was worth mentioning in the context of this thread. And I loved every second of Clark taking out Gulibon. We'll be seeing that again down the road, too. That said, Brewer did look phenomenal in the semis! Cory will have his hands full.
