Not trying to jam up the boards with team MVP stuff, but AC has been so money game after game. In my eyes, he's been the most consistent player all year. And his timing has been everything. Crucial buckets or minutes as lead point guard. Leadership.

It's natural to give love to Utey and Jok as they lead the way in scoring so much. AC has been that glue/mortar guy that always seems to be there, even when others are having an off night.

It has been fun watching him get better every year. I am so happy he did not give up after his sophomore year. Shows his character and he will be remembered as a one of the key Hawkeyes of this great basketball season.

Basketball is a game of point differential. While Sapp didn't always put up as many points as some of the others, keeping the other team's star players from scoring contributes to that differential.

This. Anymore 90% of the players in his situation just transfer these days. He stayed around, worked hard, and now everyone is reaping the benefits. Too bad more of our young men don't take this route when the going gets tough.

Defense impact most evident in both Mich St games when he shut down Forbes but one game sticks out for me how valuable he is was against Nebraska when his hip was hurting and he was limited. Showed how much he was missed when their guard Webster kept scoring and driving on our guys.

Clem and AW are the rocks of the team and JU and PJ are the flash. Everyone is beating the kids up, but it's true we need more from MG to make a big run in March.

AC has picked up his game as more teams are game planning to stop JU and Jok. He is playing the best ball of his career. Taking advantage of being the forgotten man. This team is awfully hard to game plan for.

Completely agree, AC has been a huge part of our success. He is also providing a very good example to the freshmen guards, both the one redshirting and the kids playing, of what happens when you stick around and stay at it.

Every guy in this senior class has brought their best play to this year. They have collectively delivered on the turn around Woody promised when he signed.

He's making the most of his last go round.
Love how he doesn't seem flustered by anything at this point. Really demonstrating maturity as a player.
I've said it already this season, the experience of this senior group may just be their biggest asset.

If every Hawk improved as much as Clemmons has Iowa would supplanting the 1976 Hoosiers in basketball lore.

Don't know if I ever seen a greater improvement freshman to senior. All credit to AC.

AC is on a roll no doubt about it. Super glad he's a Hawkeye. I remember when he played as a freshman he would come off the bench and just throw the ball away his first time he had his hands on it. Not anymore. He's doing a great job and I really enjoy it. Well done AC.
