This podcast offers a different and somewhat alarming perspective from James H Brown who discusses the danger of fossil energy depletion, followed by a very interesting view from climate scientist Andrew Weaver who discusses global warming in calmer, action-oriented terms.

If you are a skeptic, you should probably just jump to the Weaver bit, which starts at the 29:00 mark.

see , it's fine if you wipe out mass humanity if you do it in the name of saving the earth. just not fine if you are gw bush

This fact may have escaped you, but humans die at a fairly decent clip without any intervention. There is no need to kill off anyone to get the population down if you breeders would man up.

(How do you like that turn of phrase? :D)

Sorry but science has pretty much made your statement mute, but nice turn of a phrase.

Silenced by science? Now I understand Rs objection to it, science is clearly unconstitutional.

But I'm not sure I agree that science has quieted the notion that guys taking responsibility for their breeding would produce less offspring.
