I question the veracity of this claim. I think Rocco is solid and even I like how he carries himself, but those two receivers made that team this year. I’ll be shocked if his numbers don’t take a huge step back next year.
Perhaps these SEC teams were looking at him as someone to compete for a starting job or maybe for depth at a big name school.
No way anyone other than a low end school like Mississippi State is paying him to come in and be the starter.
I think is very commendable and shows integrity that he is returning to ISU versus chasing the money.
Can confirm he was pursued last year.He was pursued after last year as well. This is par for the course.
I'm happy he's back but it's easy to not chase the money when your dad was an 11 year NFL vet who made like 10 million dollars. Not every situation is the same.
Its note worthy here obviously because OUR HC coach just took a game suspension for the same thing. Will the NCAA levy suspensions? Don't hold your breath. (And yes I know that Kirk's suspension was self imposed, but the NCAA was in fact investigating this horrific offense by the dean of NCAA coaches).Riveting

I actually don't think he had anything to do with it. I think he fell on his sword to protect the person who did contact Mac. Honestly the whole thing was ludicrous. Mac was never going back to Michigan after he had his surgery in California.I mean this sincerely the fact that Ferentz got himself caught up in this kind of shows how naive he is about it. You kind of have to behave foolishly to get your name attached to it.
Yes. Yes there is. It's called the MAGA Republican Party, the one that just elected a convicted felon president. You've probably heard about them. You've described them well.I certainly believe it. Question I have: is there a more useless organization for not trying to enforce order, ethics, and rules than the NCAA?
Not much of a winner in that blow-out though.Watching the video of Becht standing in the tunnel after the loss in the championship game, hugging and talking to every single teammate who was walking past him, told me all I needed to know about this guy.
Winner.
They keep getting sued for trying to enforce anything at all. Why should they bother? They didn’t want any of this.I certainly believe it. Question I have: is there a more useless organization for not trying to enforce order, ethics, and rules than the NCAA?
Enforce the rules you can. The problem is there are never any harsh punishments and certainly nothing to deter programs from tampering with athletes prior to going into the portal. They keep getting sued for trying to enforce anything at all. Why should they bother? They didn’t want any of this.
They enforced the hell out of Drew OttI certainly believe it. Question I have: is there a more useless organization for not trying to enforce order, ethics, and rules than the NCAA?
Go cry on some purple haired, nose ringed, baby killing, bitch's shoulder. (you know, the backbone of the Dem. party)Yes. Yes there is. It's called the MAGA Republican Party, the one that just elected a convicted felon president. You've probably heard about them. You've described them well.
No Hickory Park gift cards????Can confirm he was pursued last year.
Allegedly, Anthony wanted to let Campbell know, and also appreciated that ISU had treated him well but, ya know.
This allegedly resulted in ISU coming up with 100k, and a truck for Rocco.
We need to recruit him back for a year. They enforced the hell out of Drew Ott

Don't understand why you would doubt it. Almost anybody would pay him to be on their team at this point, whether it be for starter or notI question the veracity of this claim. Kirk shoulda claimed he accidentally butt dialed Cade. Total accident. Or that he wanted to let Cade know his car's warranty was expiring. Its note worthy here obviously because OUR HC coach just took a game suspension for the same thing. Will the NCAA levy suspensions? Would have been the closer if he didn’t bite on the 100k, no doubt. No Hickory Park gift cards????
What has changed with the portal and NILs is that some teams are able to get older and recruit an experienced QB that has gone through the redshirt/freshman/sophomore growing pains elsewhere and they reap the experience reward.Don't understand why you would doubt it. Almost anybody would pay him to be on their team at this point, whether it be for starter or not
He is good.I think Becht is a lot better than some folks here are willing to admit. Yes, he has great receivers, but he makes some NFL-caliber throws. He has good mobility. And he also appears to have the ability to work through the progression, often hitting the 2nd or 3rd option.
Lots and lots of bottled Ames water for all of his family! No Hickory Park gift cards????
