Club or Recreational Youth Soccer/Futbol?

Right, I saw you were in San Antonio. That certainly helps. That's also less expensive than some of the clubs here.

We also have to go further to get better competition and not play the same clubs in the state.

I guess time will tell how this thing goes. I have some friends who were paying anywhere from $5-8K for travel teams. That's insane.

If you can find a quality Club that you can afford, and the child and parents are willing to commit to it, that kid will definitely be a much better player for it. When you look at the top players, from the top teams in high school in Iowa, almost all of them are/were Club players. It works.
