Listen to Conners post game. Really have a ton of respect for that young man.
Still doesn’t take away the hurt he’s felt from all the JERKS on this board that piled on him. Same thing when Fran recruited the Murray’s. If you can’t be decent on a post then DON’T. These student athletes deserve our support not criticism. The next time you feel the need for a pointed thoughtless post don’t look like a fool doing it and then turning around and admitting it when a player does good!!!!!Listen to Conners post game. I really think the biggest difference is when he's open he's taking the shot right away and in rhythm rather than essentially being forced to when nobody comes out on him and he's got 5 seconds to think about it.Gotta give CMac lots of credit. He's been bashed and bashed some more, but as Fran has said, CMac brings tough defense, intelligence, leadership, and now the almost automatic 3 ball. His shooting the last several games has been nothing short of miraculous. That alone deserves a ton of respect. For most of the season he couldn't make anything. Now, it's shocking if he misses, which he doesn't very often.
I've always loved his toughness and hustle. If he decides to come back for one more year, I'd welcome that decision. Either way, he's going to be a major factor in how far this team can go the rest of the season. Congrats to him and his dad for hangin' in there.
They kind of left it open in regards to next year, but some comments he made afterwards leaned toward "this is it". That could change over time however, guess we'll find out in about 6 months.Gotta give CMac lots of credit. If he comes back, fine. If he doesn't that's fine too. Just doesn't move the needle that much for me one way or the other. Losing Keegan is the killer, but that's the way it goes.
Even if shoots around 35% from three, it creates a lot of problems for opposing defenses. 5 on 5 basketball is much easier than 4 on 5.I am just hopeful he continues to hit a high percentage of his 3"s.
