Exactly...

Everyone has to understand that he doesn't get fandom. He makes statements that he dumps teams he "likes" because they start to lose. He says he doesn't get why people would follow a team that would not be competitive for a title and just change teams when convenient. He doesn't get the torture it is to be a fan and sticking with your team.

That is good work on his part. Barta and KF have a pretty good scheme worked out for both of them to make great money and maintain job security. It's called scheduling weak opponents. Dropping one every once in a while is just a bump in the road.

What has Cowherd said that isn't true? Our schedule last year was terrible and we lost games against tough teams. Actually we got embarrassed in the Rose Bowl. This year, we play a relatively weak schedule again and get thoroughly dominated and embarrassed AT HOME against NDSU. He has all the right to continue to ridicule Iowa especially after paying KF more money and extending his contract. We are settling for mediocrity with a good season every 5-7 years......

I think the reason that Hawkeye fans hate on Cowherd so much is because A LOT of what he says is true.

That being said, he's annoying as **** when he talks about anything...
