College fan gear in weird places

I just saw both Iowa and Northwestern t-shirts during the fan shots for the sprint shootout at the Qatar GP.

I saw an Iowa flag on a FOB in Afghanistan, and it wasn't IANG, it was an active duty Black Hawk pilot who had it up. Yes, I stopped and talked to him.
