This just broke overnight, NC State, which was one of the final four teams left in the College World Series, has been knocked out of the event due to Covid and Vanderbilt will advance to the title series against either Texas or Mississippi State.

Now, this is not a green light to debate vaccines and whether you take them or not in the Lounge. That's a hot button and if you want to touch that stove go to the OT board and do it because it's political. But, it is how the NCAA and probably conferences are going to handled Covid moving forward into the fall. While the country is in a much better overall place now and we are returning to something closer to normal, people, or in this case, players are testing positive and if they are not vaccinated, then they are going to be contract traced. That caused NC State to lose half their team.

SEC Commissioner was on Paul Finebaum's show and discussed the situation.
