Nato, Gross, Eierman, Retherford, Pantaleo, Nolf, Valencia, Nickal, Steveson.
This is the list of guys I saw going through the entries that still have college eligibility left. I've seen this trend for years, but it still amazes me how few college guys there are at these things. Lots of talent not here. I know there are lot of varying reasons (some need a break, some just don't do freestyle and have no desire too, school, etc.)
I'd still think this number would be higher. There are guys that could make some noise like IMar, Kemmerer, Zahid, Sorenson, Heil. But, I also remember the old adage that most top highschoolers abide by that you wrestle freestyle in the summer to make improvements and get better and can't understand why that mindset gets lost in college.
Isn't Nolf just widening the gap on Kemmerer by testing himself against guys like Green, Chamberlain, Welch, Kulchytskyy and others? Same with Zain over Sorenson?
