Conference Bowl Standings

I think this year it's apparent how worthless the overall records can be based on who you played. The Pac 12 racked up 4 wins early against almost no one with a pulse.

I think a more telling stat would be Power 5 v Power 5 (plus Notre Dame & maybe BYU) conference records.

SEC is 3-1. I think Big 12 is 1-1 unless I missed a game

You should add a second column that includes record versus ranked teams. The Big10 plays 6 ranked teams in our bowls while the Pac12 only plays 2. This is partly because the Big10 has very good bowl tie-ins and partly because we had a team make the playoffs and also had a team that was an at-large selection for the Fiesta Bowl. That means a bowl that was supposed to get Big10 number 4 now gets Big10 number 6, etc. Some of these bowl games you end up playing the kind of team that gets you criticized for scheduling cupcakes in the non-conferencce portion of the schedule. Pac12 teams are playing multiple teams like Nevada and Southern Miss and Air Force, etc. while the Big10 only has one game like that (Central Michigan).

Pac 12 so far is 0-2 versus the Big 10 too... Hope we can make it 3-0 now for the Big 10 over them come New Year's Day.

Nebraska (5-7) over UCLA (8-4) - 37-29
Wisconsin (9-3) over USC (8-5) - 23-21

Houston taking down Florida State. ACC will fall to 3-5. Hey Cowturd! How do you explain a team loaded with 4 & 5 star players being taken down by a team from outside the Power 5 conferences?
