I legit think that Connor had the potential to be a very high-level QB had he decided to go the route of Football as opposed to Basketball/Baseball.

How much better would ISU be if they had Connor? I think this nose dive they've been in might not be so ugly if they had a Connor on the team. His value is much higher than even his excellent stats indicate.
Anything over 3 is really, really good. Don't get me wrong it's good, but his usage is 12, which is incredibly low, and his game isn't driving and getting to the rim where a lot of turnovers happen.
Because clown fan says so. Where would the world be if we didn’t have clown fans here to tell us what counts and matters and what doesn’t. Of course history says that what counts or matters today magically changes once it doesn’t fit the clown fan narrative. Just how that douchy fan base rolls. I think he and Grill are comparable players, but it'd be really nice to have Connor right now due to Grill's ongoing injury. That said I don't think he'd be a good fit on ISU.
I think he would. I haven't seen Grill enough to make a comparison but Connor guards multiple positions and feeds the post well.
I never said anything about Dolph and Bobby. I said the idea that a 60+ year old man needs to be held back because he can't control himself to be absurd, and it is.

1 assist for every 10 minutes played on the leading offense in the conference isn't that impressive. The low turnovers is great but he spends a lot of time on the perimeter getting assists with risk free passes when we hit our 3's.

So again is leading the nation in assist to turnover ratio equate to a player that sucks and has this always been the case or just now with Connor?
Connor has never been good enough for the minutes he gets. Good for him getting an assist every 10 minutes in our high scoring offense though.
I never get all the love for him he is ok but if you want to go sweet 16 and beyond he is not the type of player Iowa needs, especially playing 30 plus minutes a game.
Look clown fans have been saying for years Connor sucks and wouldn’t get a scholarship to play basketball in any P5 School other than Iowa. So either they are just being the douches that they are or they don’t understand college basketball. Not sure how anyone can claim someone to suck or. It worth of a scholarship that leads the nation in an individual stat.
Clown fans are idiots. We agree there. Connor has never been good enough to earn starter minutes on any NCAA tourney caliber team. Garza, Weezy, and the Murrays won despite him. Fran blew 2 of the best teams we've had in 20-30 years. He not only hurt the seasons, but affected the transfer portal because players know they aren't playing ahead of the boys. This year not having a 5 because moving Rebraka to the 4 would take some of his minutes hurts us. At least we can agree Clown fans are idiots 100% of the time.

If we want to do better in the tourney, we need to have better guards. We didn't recruit PGs well at all in anticipation of Connor's arrival and then he didn't pan out as a 1.
Bowen looks like he has potential, but doesn't get any playing time, so his development will be delayed.
It's easy to play downhill when you're getting a good defensive effort. Very hard to play downhill when you don't and then shots aren't falling either.
