Cortez to PSU

What I meant was if Cael would continue to go after Lee and some how land him what would they do with Lee, Suriano and Cortez.
I have a feeling Suriano knows where Lee wants to go to college and it's not Penn State. Who knows, I'm sure the inside info guys will tell you they do.
I think you are right. Hard to predict things but quite possible if he stays he never sees the lineup there. I dont see him staying..
I'm a PSU fan and I kinda agree with this. But I think not only Suriano knows but also Cael knows of Lee's intentions. Thats why I think there was a delay on what Suriano was going to do. Cael couldn't give Nick a definitive answer on the money until he knew what Lee was doing. I mean, Cael may have offered a set amount and told him it would be more if Lee commits elsewhere. Suriano backed off on announcining end of July until things became more clear. In my opinion Lee gave Cael word of his intentions and it isn't in happy valley. Cael could then offer Nick the money he needed to go there. Total speculation on my part and I hope I'm wrong. In fact, I'm now going to predict Lee verbals real soon once he gets back from worlds.
I unfortunately agree that it will probably be schollie money that prevents PSU from both, not lineup space...in fact PSU could still sign Red and have the lineup space with Lee

That is possible in Theory and no one is hitting a weight class they can't be effective at
If you guys get Hall and Lee--this sting will only last a second, PSU will not take Hall from Iowa but I am Sure Cael and Brands are playing tug of war with Lee's ears

Over Overthinking this methinks. Cael got a good recruit. Next year he'll get more good recruits. These kids are high school kids. The money is tuition money, not lottery winnings.
You could be right, I have no idea where his family stands financially. I will say this though, for someone who had to take out loans and pay his own way through school like I did, having your tuition paid would have felt like you just hit the lottery. Lol
I'll tell my kids they are lottery winners!
It's this kind of stuff that makes you near and dear to my heart. I've met many Iowa fans and they never seem to react quite like this.
I don't act any differently in person than I do on here. Heck, I've been debating wrestling in person for a long time now also. Never seem to have a problem with it, and I'm not referring to this in a macho way. I guess most people expect that there will be some give and take in debate. I would wager that if we were discussing this in our favorite local establishment you would probably acting differently. Not out of fear of anything physical, but more of just being a normal human.
If you're tired of my gig, bring something to the table to make me change my tune. There are guys on here that do this. They disagree and probably don't like my opinion on things, but I respect their opinions and enjoy the wrestling dialogue. The tone in my posts directed towards them is probably a little different than it is in my posts to you. But it's a free country, do what you want.
