Could a scheme change do us any favors?

I like the style Fran plays with. Fast break offense is always enjoyable to watch. I also love a lot of players he has recruited, such as the Murray’s, Luka, White, and more. My issue now is the scheme we play. It seems that the rest of CBB is moving to an almost entirely guard/wing lineup. Could we benefit from it? My ideal lineup would be something like this:

Point Guard: A guy who can drive and dish out. Also have a decent jumper from the mid and outside.

Shooting Guard: One of your main scorers would need to be here. This guys needs to be a 3 and D guy. Guard the wing well and have a good 3 ball.

Point Forward: a guy who can guard and play multiple positions, get assists, and be a threat to score from somewhere.

Small Forward: basically the typical wing that has been developed well under Fran. A guy like Uthoff, White, or Murray. Just a multifaceted threat all around while also being a plus defender

Power forward: this guy needs to be able to play suffocating interior defense. He has to be able to rim protect and slow down interior drives. Basically, a Gabe Olaseni type would be perfect here.

I don't think a change of scheme would help. Fran or Iowa or both just don't get enough high caliber players.

To compete in any scheme, Iowa needs to get guys that aren't stars, but become stars. Garza and Keegan are perfect examples.

The Hawks need really good guards. They just haven't been able to get them.
