In many cases, 4 to 6 weeks of physical therapy will resolve any pain and allow an athlete to return to sports. If, however, the pain comes back when you resume sports activities, you may need to consider surgery to repair the torn tissues.

I'm obviously not a Dr., so I would appreciate any one with medical expertise to weigh in on this. I think we could get by Maryland and Indiana without him, as long as the O-line is healthy and Weigers can make some plays.

I think the coaches have to be at least considering this right now.
