That is true.
It is also true that one would never see one jogging down the middle of Michigan Avenue in the middle of a weekday either!
This is ironic because Hormel is the #2 customer of my work and they are running 24/7 and can't keep up. It's crazy.

Coyotes? Or red fox? I have seen fox in person a couple of times in the warehouse area not too far from O'Hare. There could be coyotes too, but I have seen the foxes and heard others talk about them.
Huh. OK, well how about that. Normally, coyotes and fox do not co-exist well, coyotes will dominate the fox. I wonder if the coyotes have overrun the foxes there then. I guess it would have been 6 or 7 years ago since I last saw fox in that region.
This could very well be. This article points out that the males attack dogs while in mating season. Also says the population has doubled to around 4,000 since they started studying them.
