Maybe the clowns filming the carnage and offering their commentary could have dialed 911, or walked up the roadway and maybe started warning drivers to slow down? Assuming the jersey barrier went back a ways, but that would have been helpful.

This was the crash where the guy in the fj cruiser got hit by a semi, thrown thru the air, landed on his roof - then the dude got out and started giving aid to the injured. Toyota gave him a new truck.

I've dealt with these situations a few times on 4 lane highways. Not this big of one but around 30-40 cars. It's up there for the worst nights I have ever worked.
