Mentioned this earlier, but working on a Crossover story from the perspective of facilities/logistics, was just at Carver today talking with one of the people involved. Some wild details — spoiler alert, they had every excuse available to move the event indoors — but this one I couldn't wait to share. That was a backup court from the rental company as the contracted one had been damaged a few weeks before the event, and with the weather, they couldn't get it down on the turf until the Saturday before the event (Crossover Eve, if you will). So they didn't realize until Saturday that it was only marked for the NBA, so the facilities guy had to run to Lowe's and buy electrical tape to put down a proper 3-point line and lane markings.
Yes: the 3-point line was electrical tape that had been sitting on a Lowe's shelf that morning.
