Crowd for the Game

I would be remiss if I did not give props to the Carver crowd and students vs ISU. Packed the place...lots of energy it seemed! I have been critical at times in the past but last night was great.....Keep 'er going! Great job and we need a repeat on SUNDAY!!!!!
Amen to this. Have said this before, but these wins are so important for March seeding purposes (assuming the Hawks make the Dance), and a better seed gives the Hawks a better chance to survive and advance - i.e. make the Sweet 16. Keep it up Hawks fans, we can make a difference in the season!

It seems to me that crowd noise on football and basketball broadcasts has been muted for some time now. And I do NOT like it. The telecast should do everything it can to take fans to the site and make them feel like they're inside the stadium or arena. Instead, again last night, the crowd noise was dialed way back. It never sounded really loud even once. At least not on my TV, and I had that baby cranked up. But glad to hear those who were there were doing what fans should do . . . making noise. Well done, even if we couldn't tell on TV.

Sounded pretty quiet on tv but the people who were at the game said the place was electric so good job hawkeye fans!
I thought it sounded loud on TV for the first 15 min of the game. You could feel the energy in the place and the players were certainly feeling it. Once the lead pushed up over 20-25, it’s natural to kind of slide back a bit. Seemed like a great crowd.

Yeah this was my take. If it wasn't a complete ass kicking the noise and energy from early on would have continued. I love how they made noise til isu scored which had to feel like an eternity to them. My guess is losing to the clown show in fball which the students aren't familiar with and not having fans last time they played in Carver fired some people up. Great to see, wish I could have been there

This. Hard to have that same energy up 25. Great crowd even better performance by the Hawks.

I was at this game and the GA Tech game. The GA Tech crowd was a total bummer. This environment got pretty loud at times. The crowd could have gotten up out of their seats a few more times. I think it would have been more electric if the game was even remotely close. It seemed to me that the crowd was kind of out of it since it was such a complete blow out. I'll take it though! The place erupted after a few 3's and definitely after Tony's dunk.

The football guys were there and Cade was getting a ton of love from fans. I could see the TE transfer prospect from Michigan was there with him as well. It looked like they were having a good time. Brian Ferentz's hair is atrocious; he uses as much gel as Alford.

It's odd because on a lot of sporting events I watch, they turn up the crowd noise to the point that you can't hear the commentary (not that that's necessarily a bad thing). Last night seemed to be a pretty decent balance in my bunker. I can't claim to have added to the ambiance as I just sat there stunned with a grin you couldn't have pulled off my face with a tug boat!

For some reason FS1's sound on my tv is not as loud as other channels just got a totally different sound to it.

This seems loud. ;)

Carver hit 110 decibels last night. And look at the 3 visitors there to see it.

Anybody know if any basketball recruits were at the game? And if so, who?

Thanks...
