Since they are a major rival of ours, I thought it'd be ok to ask this here: any insight as to why Fernstrom, their sophomore center, is leaving the program so abruptly? TIA

Well I don't think Fenelly communicated very well with her the decision to not start her vs. starting the girl from DSM Roosevelt.

Big blow for them, she is a force down low.

Decent sized thread on CF about it. She the 3rd person of their class of 2014 to transfer out. A couple of years ago, all of their seniors were transfers-in, as that entire recruiting class had left early. From the drift of the thread, I'd guess it was the nature of the communications, rather than lack of.

But they do still have some size on their roster, and Fennelly has been pretty adaptable in his time there.
