D1 Baseball's Top 150 Starting Pitchers List contains 3 Hawkeyes

I just hope they can throw strikes consistently. Nothing worse than watching the "talented" guys that scouts drool over throw 100 pitches in less than four innings with 8 Ks and 8 walks. Really doesn't help the team much. Brecht and Morgan got quite a bit better at that as last year progressed, so hopefully Cade can make that same jump this year.

Every game can be an adventure with these starters! At least Iowa piled up a few runs early so they didn't waste the zeros Brody did put up. But kudos to Whitlock and Voelker who both entered the game in tight spots and came through. Brecht's numbers look a lot worse if Whitlock doesn't get out of the fifth for him.
