Dale Jones will be part of Senior Day; might NOT PLAY after recent knee swelling

He for sure is done as a member of this team, there is little doubt about that at this point. He was done the minute that Fran signed Garza and Nunge the same weekend in the Fall.

Best of luck to Dale! It would be great if he could be a graduate transfer (assuming he's graduated after 5 years of college) to a lower level DI / DII / DIII program.

Tough luck for him. Hopefully he is graduating and can move onto a new opportunity.

I wish Jones the best of luck. I think his playing days are over with the knee not being 100% but you never know if by next year he feels well enough for the low D1 route. It was still swelling earlier in the year after games so I'm guessing he hangs up the sneaks after the season.

Beset by injuries his entire career but nice to see he is getting a college degree (I assume he's graduating).

Maybe Uhl can join him and take a load of summer courses.
Dom has no confidence, basically was a non entity last night, 2 fouls, 1 turnover and 2 rebounds. He did spell our Bigs but the young man does not play with any enthusiasm and plays soft. Too bad because I was hoping for better things from him this year.

I wouldn't make proclamations based on one game. We had 2 guys play well off the bench, Baer and Pemsl. Everyone else off the bench last night was not good. In terms of Uhl, he is what he is. Good defender, hustles, but the whole package just isn't there yet. Wouldn't surprise me if his best basketball came after college. I don't think he's going anywhere, Iowa has a pre-season trip scheduled to Germany this summer.

Crazy that he got sent to B1G Media Days (shows Fran's confidence) and just never could make anything work. Injuries suck.

He's a good teammate, though - enthusiastic on the bench, and I hear he's still showing good leadership in practice and what-not.

He'll always be a Hawkeye and whatever he goes on to do, I wish him well.

Dale Jones: please consider Drake as a graduate transfer! You will be their 2nd best player, even on one good leg. Lord knows the Bulldogs need some help!
