Probably felt obligated given that he will be receiving the award.
Do you think Trump or his campaign asked him to be there, or, did he just show up on his own?

I am sure my President wasn’t thinking “votes” with this announcement. The timing of this announcement is more than coincidental.,That’s the bad thing about anything Trump does...it seldom is for the reason one might think and to question the motivation makes one open for criticism.

Gable is deserving. He probably should have received one by Clinton’s administration, Bush 2 by the latest. This is just pandering.

To be honest, I've heard him speak so many times this isn’t surprising at all, nor does it change my opinion of the man. A poster of Gable was on my wall my entire childhood. Just like the reast of my heroes; Hayden Fry, Batman and the Ninja Turtles.
Nobody gets everything right in life, Dan Gable has gotten more things right than most people.

Really disappointed in Gable, not that he cares, for supporting Trump. Yes, it's his right to express his opinion and support, but it has really diminished my respect for him as an American, since he somehow is not able to see the truth about the criminal Trump Administration and that great harm it has done and is doing to our country.

Asked or otherwise I would never dream of stepping on stage at a Trump rally. Very disappointed that Gable is a Trump supporter.

I'll admit the majority of respect and admiration I had for Gable is gone. That's what happens when you openly support and enable a fraud and con man that is racist, misogynistic and xenophobic. It reflects poorly on anyone and everyone that supports this fraudulent clown.
