Dec 27 Injury Updates: Traore is 100%!!! He had a “bad ankle sprain” on Nov 26 & was SUPPOSED to be back by Dec 10. Koch was hospitalized?

You seem to be so negative about Fran, that I'm not sure why you bother to watch the team. Fran did manage to identify and recruit Thelwell and Traore with very limited NIL to work with.
You're thinking of someone else dude. My only issues with Fran are his in game personnel management. There are a ton of people on here that want Fran fired and complain constantly about the roster. You haven't seen any of that from me ya big weirdo.

"I guess" sounds like the kid is saying he's hurt not the doctors. I think Fran knows how big this game is this weekend

Ankle injuries can really suck.

If it’s that still, just sit him until conference slate starts again in January.
"I guess" ?? does that mean the team doctors are keeping him out.. and Fran don't completely understand why ?

Here's 6 minutes of Fran discussing the upcoming game.

At the 3:09 mark he's asked about Traore. What does the look on his face, his hand gestures and then silence say, if anything?

I had Christmas activities all day and wasn’t able to watch unfortunately. I’ll probably try to watch the recording tomorrow and will keep an eye out. I just noticed he wasn’t on the stat sheet.

This is post #149. Scroll up to post #132 on this page and start reading. Be sure to watch that video. We have been discussing Traore/this issue since Thursday afternoon.

Absolutely no idea.

In the lower left in the video below you see Traore. At least he was with the team.

And thankfully our next game is not until Dec 30 against one of the worst teams in the country (New Hampshire, ranked #360 out of 364 teams by KenPom). The game after that one? Jan 3 at Wisconsin.

Sure hope the injury works itself out and he gets back for b10 play. Traore gives the Iowa defense an extra gear imo.

On Thurs Dec 12 the pregame availability report for Iowa State was clean, which meant Traore was expected to be available. Traore did pregame warm ups and played 14 minutes for 6 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist. Iowa lost 89-80.

Seems like an eternity ago.

@WestCoastHawkI , did you see him on the bench? I was not looking for him but I am guessing he was there but was not going to play.
I don't think Traore dressed for the game, but he was on the bench. He seemed to be engaged and rooting for the other guys. I remember him giving Dix a tap on the chest at a timeout, appreciating how well Josh played.
