If I'm being honest, if I woke up to see this at the border I wouldn't be upset about it.
What these imbeciles don't understand is I agree we have a yuge problem at the border...I just don't view the issue through the lens of all the "evil brown people are coming to rape, murder and steal."
That looks very similar to my voting record, except I wasn’t old enough to vote until 2000 and I voted Democrat from 2016 to try to save the country (and the Republican Party) from the Trump disaster.
I miss the days the Republican Party was the party of common sense, although I now in hindsight greatly regret supporting the Bush/Cheney foreign policy agenda.

However, if you look at the rhetoric Trump has used, it’s clear that his comments about immigrants and people of color, particularly from Latin America, Africa, and Muslim-majority countries, have typically been generalized and dehumanizing. For instance, he referred to Mexican immigrants as "rapists" and criminals, called certain countries "shitholes," and used terms like "animals" for other groups of immigrants.
I didnt say we would or should meddle with other countrie's justice systems but I think we really need to question and be leery of many of the govts and justice systems in south america, even Canada. Let alone trust our own govt and justice system. Have to question them all the time.

I posted before that it is really really easy to close down our southern border as we have the resources if that is really a top priority. But Repubs want the border problem for their own talking points so will they really want to solve it.
Close it totally down and then slowly open it up to a manageable and wanted amount. Al Queda and their attacks created a new anti-terroist economy and closing the southern border can do the same, even though I wish we had to do either.

Mexico isn't sending them in. People are coming from or passing through Mexico trying to get into the US.
And the people coming in, last I checked, are less likely to rape or kill or etc than the average US citizen. Naturally some of them are bad people, but statistically not worse than US citizens.
