If I was on the field, or Clemson's coach, I'd tell my players to grab it. As HawkCapt1912 says, I think it is legal, within rules of the game of Football. It should be.

It was aggravating to me, to hear some Hawkeye fans saying our
QB 'should cut his hair', when they would never say that about a kid like Henry.

It is legal to pull the hair. Not sure if it falls within the horse collar rules though. I think it was Ricky Williams that had a few dred locks ripped out during his career in different games. Makes me want to shave my head just thinking about it

I don't see that at all. He seems like a good guy to me. His major is Exercise and Sport Science. I don't condemn the guy just for being quiet.
