True. Nurses take just as much shit on a daily basis as, dare I say, teachers. I will never ever be nothing but polite to a nurse. Every single time, before they put me under for colonoscopies or anything I say, “Thank you for taking care of me.” They are always very kind back.

I usually tell them to make sure the drugs they are using are not out of date.

One thing that you guys never look at is how it effects the poor that are currently here. My wife’s mom is 65. She came from Columbia in the early 1980s she bis came a legal citizen many years later. She has been a housekeeper all this time. Lives in a little apartment in Miami. That frankly is a total shithole. The issue is that little crap apartment is now renting for $1,400 a month because the demand is so high. When you bring a lot of people into a poor Spanish speaking neighborhood they compete for housing
