Could probably use some of that $12 million back now? Always coming with their hands out. Next week he'll flirt with seceding from the Union and his ilk will stand and cheer.

On Friday, DeSantis signed an executive order issuing a state of emergency for 24 Florida counties which could be in the storm's path. The order also places the Florida National Guard on standby. DeSantis also put in a request for a federal "pre-landfall emergency declaration."

I like that:

federal "pre-landfall emergency declaration."

DeSantis is lucky Biden is President and not his predecessor, whom shall not be named (for reasons that only feed into the narrative that Dems just won't let him go...).

The predecessor would obviously want some favors performed first.

Ian = " 'Merican Hurricane name"
(cannot relocate)

If he was named "Ignacio" a.k.a "Nacho", then he'd be an illegal hurricane seeking asylum, and able to be relocated to Martha's Vineyard or Delaware.
