seems like if nothing else, the system is working. the state legislature passed a law... its being challenged in court, its on hold pending the outcome of the proceedings...
Is the system working when laws are passed that immediately get challenged in court? Is that really the purpose of legislating?
I keep hearing we live in a democracy... we elect representatives, they write bills, they're either signed or vetoed... in this case, it was signed, the courts will have to determine whether or not its constitutional. President Biden's vax mandate was challenged and failed in court...
