How about duly elected school boards which were threatened with and fined if they enacted mask mandates within their districts.
Such as shame sounding like an uneducated hillbilly is now a badge of honor. Even more laughable that DeSantis is the one carrying this message. I’m sure he’s misrepresenting what the fund managers do and will need to do under this bill, but the ESG train has left the station.
He didn't allow elected officials do what the people who voted for them chose them to do. Lead. Authoritarian bastard.

Did he or did he not dictate to elected school boards what they could and could not do in schools within their jurisdiction? Did he or did he not then threaten to fine them if they did not follow his directive?
Its a pretty terrible example. He didn't say people COULDN'T wear masks, he simply said you can't FORCE them to. The fact is you're the tyrannical monster NOT HIM.
Those are simple yes/no questions. His directives were not aimed at individuals but at school boards meaning your reasoning sucks.

I hear Rs say all the time ... let decision be made at the local level. What's more local than letting the local school district decide on things like this? What happened to Republicans? All your ideals magically changed in the last few years.
