As far as I can tell, the ISU offer is still out there. Let's remember that hypothetically Lane's freshman year at Iowa St would be Donovan Jackson's (from IWCC) Senior year, so there is a need for both.

The only way ISU's offer for Lane is pulled is if ISU gets a PG in the spring signing period this coming April.

Assuming Dale gets another year, I think we're full in 17 unless someone transfers. Then again, some have suggested Fran could pay Connor's route for a year to free up a ride. If they did that, I'd hope they would swing for the fences for a big time name.

I'd agree. If you go to a full roster +1, it'll be tough to keep everyone happy. Unless that extra guy is something special, it's not worth pulling someone else in.

I'd bet money that Lane doesn't have a commit-able ISU offer. Nobody on the current staff was around when he was offered and they've made multiple offers to other PGs.

Are we glad we didn't get Washpun? I'd error on the side of getting some athletes in and let some slower footed players go.
