Did anybody notice Cook on the bench, towel over his head at the end?

It looks like Cook will really leave and not play out his Senior year, I didn't think he showed enough this year to go pro so its kinda surprising that he acted like this was his last game in College.

Shoutout to Nicholas Baer, his last game and Garza went to him for comfort after the loss.

Regardless, he’ll do great in Europe and I think you’re correct. I’d say 100% he’s not coming back.

Why do people keep saying he didn’t show enough to go pro. Of course he didn’t. He’s nowhere near ready to play at higher level. But that’s probably what he wants. So that probably why he will go.

That was my initial thought too. He was taking it very hard; tells me that he done. We'll see though. He's Europe bound likely.

I thought it had more to do with the missed free throws and getting blocked.

Regardless, I agree he’s probably gone. Wish they could bottle up the intensity in the second half.

It’s best that he leaves. Great talent, wish Fran had done more with him. But my confidence level of Cook scoring when fed the ball on the block is like a 3. When Kreiner or Garza get the ball on the block, it’s 7-8 confidence level. Those dudes would kill for Tyler Cook’s talent.

I’m sure he felt terrible about the missed free throws at the end. Not sure he’s made a decision yet, but another year at Iowa would only help him. Not looking any better now than at end of last year for the draft, In my opinion.

Probably worse.

if he would have just been standing there like it's no big deal people would be saying see this proves he's not going to be here next year. No matter what he did people would try to make the he's not coming back to Iowa connection. Basically he was upset by losing and that's it.

Cook has had plenty of time to improve his poor mid-range and FT shooting to the level that Garza has. Cook is athletically gifted, but... some players will spend hours in the gym shooting. He doesn't seem to want to do that.

He should commit to a summer of improving his handles, FT shooting, and midrange shot.

I think he needs another year of NCAA to have any chance of being a 1st round talent.

Cook has handles that may not even work in the G League. I hope he listens to any NBA talent evaluaters that guys in his position employ.

Right now he looks like an undrafted free agent if he declares for this NBA draft.

I wish him the best though. He has to decide what is best for himself. Great athletic talent. Glad he came to Iowa. I will miss him.

Rumor has it that NCAA vice president David McDaniels recently had his wife lose her foot to the diabetics. The president of the NCAA Derek McDougal saw that David was having a hard time and to lighten his spirits he decided to honor his wife by making to nets a foot shorter to symbolizes the foot the NCAA family had lost.

At the end of the game Tyler remember all of this and was overcome by emotion so he put a towel over his head and reflected on life.

So you think he spent his last 3 summers on vacation in Cancun? He could practice until he gets to be 30 and he won't improve much. He is what he is, an athletic freak with has little basketball IQ and talent.
Please inform me of his improvements since his freshman year. I'm all ears...

Yeah because that 3 with shot clock running out is what helped get us to OT. Give it a rest moron. lmao.
Moron? Ouch. Moss was lost in the moment. He wanted the win really bad. That wasn't being derogatory. I think his 3 was the loudest I was during the game. Lmao!

At this point everyone but Baer is coming back next season. They were an OT win away from the Sweet 16 starting all underclassmen. Next season only brings in more talent with Nunge and more, why would they want to shake any of that up? Cook makes mistakes but he is so underappreciated by fans for what he does for this team.

I hope everyone comes back but they are not all underclassmen. Lots of juniors if I remember correctly. JBO. Cook. Moss. Kriener. Dailey. Pemsl.

Cook and Moss are still young but they should have enough knowledge of self to know they are not yet NBA material... get that degree and enjoy ur last year of COLLEGE and try to improve being men and their collective games if they want to continue play ball after school.. plus Adulting is right around the corner and they both could very well be needing to use their degree.

Oh well i thought upper meant only seniors. Most of them are juniors this year. If one player is leaving i would think it would be Connor to make way. Despite all of the criticism he got all season long he filled in a much needed role.
