Iowa played like shit.

But there's no question that in a 4 point loss:

* Kris should have shot 3 FTs on the missed call on his 3 attempt

* Keegan should have shot 1 FT on the missed foul after his FG

Every point and every call is critical late in a tight game. I think you guys got screwed. Refs swallowed their whistles while they were still getting paid to do a job. Also, I tend to believe NCAA refs like to keep games close and tend to favor underdogs. Finally, the selection committee screwed you with a #5 seed, as if nothing you did at the BTT mattered. In the end, you are disappointed for sure. But EFF THE NCAA!

I was mad about it but Iowa played themselves into that situation. They were already losing and got what they deserved.

I can't honestly sit here and blame this loss on the refs, but wow, is college basketball officiating horrendous. There really seems to be a problem with this.

Honestly, it felt like Richmond was 10 points better today than us. Was the missed foul call on Kris bad? Yes. Do I think we still probably lose if they call it? Yes.

I don't think we played bad. We just shot poorly. What do you do as a coach when they are not falling? Keegan had shots he usually hits 70% on and he wasn't the only one. Kris didn't shoot well. Have to admit he did get hacked on his last three point attempt and Keegan should have had an and 1.

I reserve judgement on most calls because the camera angles don't always show us the true picture...but the 2 missed calls at the end of the game is horrible. The replays clearly showed the fouls. There is no reason in the world that you don't call the foul on either of those shots. Ref should not be retained when you swallow your whistle on that 3 point shot of Kris.
