I don't know about anybody else, but when Iowa loses in basketball, I need one of the following to happen to feel all good again as a fan:
- Duke loss
- Notre Dame loss
- UCLA loss

For an Iowa football loss:
- Notre Dame loss

Agreed. But I still like it when they lose. That freshman PG reminds me of Jason Kidd in college.

By the way I was at the game in Rosemont when Jason Kidd and Lamond Murray ended Bobby Hurley's college career.

Many years later I played against Lamond Murray in the SF Pro Am summer league and told him how that moment remains one of my favorite moments in basketball, fan or player. He just smiled and said, "mine, too."
