UConn played in one of the weakest conferences in the country. I'd love to see Kylie put the clamps on Paige. I don't think a team that has beaten USC and "lost" to UCLA by two will be afraid of Geno. Bring 'em on.
This team was very close to beating Tennessee, UCLA and beat USC. So yes!
Overstating but we need to be near-perfect. Keep the score close at halftime. IMO- we would really need a deep bench and keep the turnovers to a minimum. Ava will shine!

UConn is a lot better now than they were early in the year. Fudd and Strong are every bit the threat that Beukers is, so it would be one of the bigger tourney upsets. Maybe a 1 in 10 puncher's chance, but no shame or failure for this team if the were to make a Sweet-16 game. Having exceeded most every expectation, it would be just fun and playing with house money if they can beat Oklahoma.
This game--Oklahoma, is the "big" one for this team. Just hope Lucy Olsen has an epic game Monday afternoon.

Very well said. Its easy to forget that they not only lost CC22, Kate, and Gabby, but Monica, and Warnock from the previous year, so all 5 starters gone from that 2 year finals run. Then your head coach retires, as well as the staffs key strategist in Jenny. Jan had a few pieces, but Hannah, Syd, and Guyton missed pretty much all of the pre season team work, so it was a patchwork the first couple of months. This team has a new identity and have settled into their roles this last month. I think the vets are excited for their chance to show that they weren't just along for the ride these last couple of seasons.
Sorry ... but we gotta beat OU first. You always have to respect your adversary. If you don't ... then the element of surprise then lies in their favor.
If the Hawks were to get to play UConn I just hope a member of the media asks Geno his thoughts on Iowa’s “stupid and delusional fan base”.
Easy big fella, OU will be a very tough game, especially at their place. Probably helps that the game is a 3:00 CST, doubt it will be a huge crowd on a work day.
I hope they get the opportunity to try. UCONN looks like a healthy, well oiled machine right now. I expect they will win it all this year, but I’d love Iowa WBB to prove me wrong.
