It doesn’t mean much, but I’m “boycotting” this Olympics because of all the shit going on in China.
Glad to see your commitment in boycotting your viewing because of china. It’s awesome to see someone standing up for their convictions. Hopefully you extend this by boycotting goods made in china as well!

I try my best, but unfortunately we both know that’s almost impossible

Flip it on a background sometimes. Thats about the extent of my commitment to the winter games.

And if the world was serious about human rights issues, China probably shouldn't be hosting. But everyone needs their stuff. Has nothing to do with my indifference this year tho.

Not as interested as most years. I will watch a little but the games being in China does bother me a bit it.

I'll check in once in awhile to see if an event is on that I like, but no... I don't sit and watch all day.

BTW, this is a farked up poll, OP.....

I tend to not watch a lot of the judged sports in any Olympics, like figure skating, gymnastics, diving, freestyle skiing, snowboard halfpipe, and the like. Everything else, yeah, I'm going to watch if it's on. Give me a sport with a clear winner and not one that I have to rely on some "expert opinion" as to who wins. Who did it faster? Who did it farther? Who scored more points?

Like the summer Olympics but don’t care about the winter version. Used to watch hockey when the NHL players are in but not watching this year. Plus having it in China is just another reason to not watch.

I love the olympics. Especially the winter Olympics. I watch as much as I can. Every 4 years I say next time I'm going to use vacation to watch them but I am never organized enough. They sneak up on you ya know. Lol

Most of the day today.
Switching back and forth between the Olympics and watching Rutgers handle Michigan St
and humble Izzo so much the announcers mention "well Izzo just sat down and watches"
Now I'm enjoying Wisky struggle.
Update: Crap on wisky

I watch every minute I can. It’s amazing how good these people are.

The powder sports have terrible conditions and these guys are near perfect on moguls in 0° temps where you can hear the ice.

They also cover the Colorado people like crazy on the local news.

Looking forward to slope-style snowboarding tonight.

Only sports I really watch anymore is college football and the NFL. That’s about it so I don’t watch the Olympics.

Winter and summer. Love it. I can do without the human interest stories but love the competition itself.

While we're at it, we should just have the countries who oppose Russian takeover of Ukraine combine medal count vs countries in favor of Russian takeover. Medal count decides the winner. 3 points for gold, 2 for silver, 3 for bronze. Winner gets Ukraine.

I actually decided to watch the men's luge right now. It's very repetitive, one "luger" after another and most coming in within .01 or .02 seconds of each other. (YAWN) At least one guy wiped out.

It got me to thinking, why not have about a 2 foot long metal stake suddenly and randomly pop up right in the middle of the downhill slope at unannounced locations and see how quickly the lugers can respond to it? Check their reflexes. Might be more entertaining.

I'll admit, I'm a fan. But I don't like the figure skating. Incredibly difficult and they're talented, just not interested

I like pretty much any of the nordic/alpine ski events, the short/long speed skating, the sledding. Like hockey, just not excited as much without the US/USSR.

This Russian guy is skating to the Crucifixion scene in Jesus Christ Superstar while wearing thorns on his outfit.

They remain the worst.
