The difference between a #9 and a #11 finish in Kirk's bonus structure is $75K. You need a new job!
That's right, he gets between 8 and 10 million in bonus money for a top ten finish.....
That is correct, but he would have gotten $175K for a #11-15 finish so based on your statement the difference is $75K.
I don't know what his bonus's are, but if he can keep Iowa in the top ten nationally the next few years then I am happy and he can have his bonus. It's much better then the alternative, dealing with more underachieving seasons.

pythagorean theorem My 14'x16' deck was < 1/4" out of square on initial set and my son could see it-guessed it within a 1/16" Had someone help me with some interior work (very skilled) and he could eyeball to 1/32 to 1/64, did not believe him but he was correct every time I checked him. KF made $900,000 in incentives for the Finish this season,, to those that say that KF has no incentive to win is way off to the tune of $900,000,
not to mention the pay raises involved for him and his assistants, don't know about the rest of you, but that is one hell of a incentive to win more than 6-8 games each year.

Next time you're watching the " Democratic Debate " while BS and Hil-liar-y argue over who can give away the most " free stuff " , play the Bernie Sanders drinking game. Every time he mentions the richest 1% or " evil corporations, " chug someone else's beer. That way everyone gets drunk for free, right?

Are you saying they coddled their children and turned them into the "entitlement" generation? IMO every (legal) American is willing to do hard work. They just want to get a fair wage for it. Illegals are willing to work for much less. So unintelligent people think legals should be willing to accept the wages offered to illegals. They don't understand that once someone becomes legal they stop putting up with 18th century working conditions. So there are some employers who want illegals forever because those workers will tolerate abuse more readily than legal citizens will. I say all employers should have to obey the rules. Some of them don't want to. So they satisfy that urge by using illegals to create a race to the bottom.

I am very much for the bonus structure on contracts for coaches. Lower the base salary and make them earn the $ through success on and off the field. There for in a shitty year a coach would only get his base salary of X amount and if they are doing well they get X amount in bonuses
Essentially it would eliminate the bitching and moaning of this coach is getting paid to much because of their base salary is too high, structure in higher paying bonuses and lower the base salary and boom problem solved. (I know I for one am sick and tired of hearing about it)
FYI: Even with the bonuses this year I think KF is the 14th highest paid coach this year. Essentially, it is an added bonus if the team finished higher and AP poll than what the coach is ranked amongst salaries.

I'm not talking about illegal or legal workers. I'm talking about 20-30 yr. olds. I'm retired from Union Pacific RR after 35 yrs. of service. I welded on freight cars for over 20 yrs. The baby boomers in our shop were retiring 20-30 workers a yr. Before I retired I had the chance to train some of the new hires. They range in age from 20-30. I would show them what needed to be done, put down my hood and weld. I would flip up my hood to see how they were doing and they would be on their cell phones. They could only weld for 15 minutes before they would take out their phones. They would walk down the walkway on their phones. In order to get the car done it would take 2 of them to do a one man job. The reason they gave for being lazy was the job was boring and they really wanted to something with computers. This job paid over $30 per hr. and they couldn't find a computer job that started out paying that much. Being on a back shift, they pushed the limits as far as they could. Also they hated that shift and would do better if they had got the day shift. If I would of started out that way, the guy training me would of kicked me in the ass, told me to keep up or work somewhere where they hire pussies.
I agree with you that we are breeding pussies. Have you seen the threads complaining about injuries in football? It's like the posters on here just figured out yesterday that if you play football it may affect your health. A nation of pussies and illegals. The hope and change paradise has finally arrived.
