No. It's always this. Defense knows it too.
I was yelling at the TV every time he audibled at the LOS. Same thing over and over. If I can figure it out I would guess d coordinators that get paid big bucks can figure it out.
Yep. The easiest trick in college football is to force an Iowa offense to audible to a stretch play to the short side of the field. Death, taxes and the above scenario.
Teams are now baiting us into the audible, the checking out of their blitz(PSU started this, MSU took note)

But it's all about execution man....even when the D knows exactly what you're doing. I'd like to know the percentages on the stretch play working vs not working. It's gotta be very low
They ran a strong safety blitz. It was obvious to everyone (a half dozen people including 2 coaches) I was with, 'pre' snap. Stanley 'appeared' to look right at the blitzer and proceeded to almost throw a pick six to the same safety on an WR screen. So, I would say no, he is not 'actually' audiblizing...Maybe changing the direction of the play now and then, but not actually audiblizing. Everyone was worried about our receivers, etc... but it is our QB who is killing us. NEXT!!!
Hell, there was/were team(s) last year that knew the 'audible' and shifted and pointed to where the ball was going pre-snap. I'm seeing it again this year. THROW (and complete) the ball DOWN THE FIELD on every down until they back the safeties up. This is getting ridiculous. If Stanley can't do it, put someone in that can.
